Planning ‘Hacks’ to Ensure a Smooth Day

According to EKS Events’ creative director Jordan Matthews, the key is in organization. Planning, budgeting, delegating, and outsourcing are a MUST for a smooth event day.

She told us to “come up with an event agenda with all of your events and how you imagine the flow of each event. Include equipment rentals, entertainment and audio visual needs, transportation, welcome bag delivery, hair, makeup and spa treatments, event set-up and start times, cocktail hour, dinner service, any toasts or speeches, and anything else you are planning.  This will help you when you create your budget!”

“Secure vendors early and in writing, always have a solid rain plan, and you can never have too many bathrooms.”
